Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: October 17, 2026

  1. Overview

    This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to your use of AI Line Art ("the Service"), including all text prompts you enter, images you upload, and images you generate or edit. It forms part of our Terms of Service, available at /legal/terms, and applies to all users, whether or not you have an account. If a term used here is defined in the Terms of Service, it has the same meaning.

  2. Prohibited Content

    You must not use the Service to generate, upload, store, or distribute any of the following categories of content:

    2.1 Sexual and NSFW content. Sexually explicit or pornographic content, including depictions of nudity or sexual acts, and any content that is not safe for work.

    2.2 Violence and gore. Graphic depictions of violence, gore, mutilation, torture, or death, including gratuitous or shock content and the glorification of violent acts.

    2.3 Hate speech and discrimination. Content that promotes, encourages, or incites hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.

    2.4 Child-unsafe content. Any content that endangers, exploits, or sexualizes minors, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We have zero tolerance for such content: it is strictly prohibited, will be removed immediately, and will be reported to the relevant authorities and applicable hotlines as required by law.

    2.5 Deepfakes and impersonation. Content that impersonates, defames, or misrepresents real people, including synthetic media (deepfakes) created to deceive others about a person's words or actions, or to harass, bully, blackmail, or defame any individual.

    2.6 Copyright and trademark infringement. Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights, including unauthorized reproductions of protected works, characters, or brands.

    In addition, you must not upload, link to, or distribute content that is unlawful in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction where it is received.

  3. Photos of Real People

    When uploading photos or images of real people, you may only upload images of yourself, or images that you have the informed consent of the depicted person(s) to use with the Service. You are responsible for obtaining and, if requested by us, demonstrating such consent.

  4. Prohibited Conduct

    You must not:

    • Enter prompts intended to produce any Prohibited Content listed in Section 2;
    • Attempt to circumvent, bypass, or disable content filters, safety measures, rate limits, or other technical protections of the Service;
    • Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm any person;
    • Use the Service for automated or bulk abuse, reselling access without authorization, or any activity that disrupts the Service or its other users;
    • Misrepresent your age or identity to gain access to restricted features.
  5. Enforcement Actions

    We enforce this AUP using a combination of automated screening and human review, as described in Section 7. Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, we may take one or more of the following actions:

    • Issue a warning to the user;
    • Block or remove the violating content, including removal from My Creations and cloud storage;
    • Forfeit Credits associated with the violation;
    • Temporarily suspend the account and its ability to generate content;
    • Permanently terminate the account, including deletion of stored creations;
    • Report unlawful content or conduct to applicable authorities.

    Serious violations (such as child-unsafe content) result in immediate account termination and may result in reports to law enforcement, without a prior warning. If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by contacting us at hello@ailineart.com.

  6. Reporting Violations

    If you encounter content on the Service that you believe violates this AUP, please report it to us at hello@ailineart.com with the subject line "AUP Report", including a description of the content, where it appeared (for example, the generation page or creation link), and any other relevant information. Our commitments when handling reports:

    • We review reports promptly, and acknowledge reports within a reasonable time, generally within three (3) business days;
    • We investigate reported content and take appropriate enforcement action as described in Section 5;
    • We may request additional information from the reporter if needed to complete the investigation;
    • We retain reports and enforcement records as necessary to detect repeat violations and improve moderation.
  7. Content Moderation

    To keep the Service safe, we operate a layered content moderation mechanism:

    • Automated screening: user inputs (including text prompts and uploaded images) and generation activity are screened automatically for potential violations of this AUP;
    • Human review: content flagged by automated screening or reported by users is reviewed by our team, which decides on the appropriate enforcement action;
    • Account-level measures: users who repeatedly violate this AUP face progressively stronger enforcement, up to permanent termination;
    • We continuously improve our screening and moderation as new risks are identified.
  8. Changes to this Policy

    We may update this AUP from time to time. We will indicate the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify users of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page or by other reasonable means.

  9. Contact Information
